CORN Cooking Methods
On the cob, in the husk or out, there are a number of ways to cook your corn.
Basic Stovetop: method: Steamed/boiled
Remove corn husks and corn silks, compost or dispose waste.
Fill an 8qt stock pot 3/4 with water.
Heat water on high, with lid, until boiling.
Once boiling, reduce heat and add up to 6 corn cobs. (do not overfill)
Cook for 8 minutes, or until desired tenderness.
Eat as is, add seasonings or cool and cut corn off cob to add to a recipe.
Microwave:
Individual cobs, husk on:
Microwave, with husk, for 4 minutes.
Use towel or hot pads to remove.
Cut husk off cob and remove silks.
Enjoy!
*for more than one cob, increase cooking time by 1-2 minutes for each additional cob. Microwaves are different so adjust accordingly.

Wrap in wet paper towel.
Microwave on high.
